Stunning, Sultry & Sexy 1940's Midi Dress
Featuring a cowl neck with hidden weights so it falls beautifully at the neckline, delicate gathering at the shoulders, front and back darts for shape, a fitted bodice and waist with light gathering that falls into a fuller mid length skirt and side zip closure under the left arm
This is an extremely old, delicate and quality hand sewn piece. All of the inside seams have been hidden with satin ribbon and the neckline weights have been fixed by hand - a true reflection of the quality of its time
Made from a semi sheer, delicate & lightweight crepe fabric with no stretch. The color is an off white with a beautiful blue, turquoise & grey floral print all over
In very good condition, especially for its age - There are a few very small pinhead size holes in the fabric and a few really small holes from wear at the neckline (see last photos) but aside from this she has been very well kept
